TUBERCULOSIS.

At the end of the year four hundred and thirty four persons were shown to be suffering from Tuberculosis and living within the district:

Of the ninety four cases tabulated above twenty six are cases
transferred from other districts.
At the commencement of the year there were three hundred and
ninety eight cases of tuberculosis on the register and at the end of the
year this figure had increased to four hundred and thirty four.
During the year fourteen were notified as recovered from the disease,
thirty left the district and there were fourteen deaths.
