Very useful work was carried out by this Committee. All
cases requiring assistance are considered by the Committee both
on notification and discharge from sanatoria.
Applications for houses and better housing conditions which
are sent to me by the Chest Specialist are investigated by me and
sent to the Housing Committee for their consideration.
It is essential that persons suffering from tuberculosis should
have separate rooms.
