INFANT MORTALITY
There were 27 deaths of children under 1 year of age. 26 were
legitimate and I was illegitimate.
Of the infant deaths 17 occurred in hospitals or public
institutions outside the district of Surbiton. The ages at death
were as follows:-
One at 9 minutes; 1 at 10 minutes; 1 ot 30 minutes; 1 at 1 hour;
3 at 5 hours; 1 at 10 hours; 1 at 18 hours; 1 at 21 hours; 3 at 1 day;
4 at 2 days; 1 at 3 doys; 1 at 6 days; if at 1 week; 1 at 4 weeks;
1 at 1 month; 1 ot 2 months and 1 at 4 months.
