INFANT MORTALITY
There were 34 deaths of children under I year of age.
28 were legitimate and 6 were illegitimate.
Of the infant deaths, 20 occurred in hospitals or public
institutions outside the district of Surbiton. The ages at
death were as follows;-
One at 2 hours; two at 5 hours; one at 6 hours; one at 9 hours;
one at 10 hours; one at 13 hours; one at 14 hours; one at 1 day;
five at 2 day3; three at 3 days; two at 4 days; one at 5 days;
one at 6 days; two at 1 week; two at 1 month; two at 2 months;
one at 3 months; one at 4 months; one at 5 months; two at 8 months;
one at 10 months; one at 11 months.
