FACTORIES AND BAKEHOUSES.
One hundred and sixtyeight visits, were mode to factories and 21 tc
bakehouses, and as a result, the following works were carried out to
remedy contraventions:-

There were 14 outworkers on the Register at the end of the year.
Five visits of inspection were made.
FOOD INSPECTION.
The following foodstuffs found to be unfit for human food, were surrendered' by the owners, and either salvaged for animal feeding or destroyed:-
