INCREASE OF RENT AND MORTGAGE INTEREST
(RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1920.
Four applications were received during the year
from tenants for certificates under Sub section 2 of
Section 2 of the Increase of Kent and Mortgage
Interest (Restrictions) Act, 1920, that the house was
not in a reasonable state of repair.
After making a careful inspection of the
premises, a certificate was granted in each case, and
the owner's attention called to the defects found.
In three instances the necessary repairs were
carried out by the owners, and in the fourth case the
work was in progress at the end of the year.
