The Milk (Special Designations) Order, 1923,
stipulates that there shall not be more than 30,000
Bacteria per cubic centimetre, and that no Bacillus
Coli shall be present in one tenth of a cubic
centimetre.
FOOD INSPECTIONS.
Regular visits have been paid to the slaughter
houses in the district for the purpose of inspecting
the carcases of animals at the time of, or immediately
after slaughter.
Visits have also been made to the shops &c.,
where food is prepared or exposed for sale.
The following foodstuffs found to be unfit for
human food were surrendered by the owners, and
subsequently destroyed:—
