Diphtheria antitoxin is supplied free of charge
to medical practitioners requiring it for cases within
the district.
It is kept in stock at the Council Offices, and is
available at any time.
Out of 186 diphtheria swabs sent by the general
medical practitioners for examination, only 15
proved to be positive.
