Copies of these reports are forwarded by the
Laboratory direct to the Ministry of Health and any
necessary action is taken by that department.
There is one producer of Grade "A" (Tuberculin
Tested) milk in the District and this grade is
supplied to nine retailers under licence. No samples
were taken.
There are ten dealers in the District who hold
licences for Pasteurised milk. No samples were
taken.
Six samples of Ordinary milk were taken
during the year under review.
The presence of Streptococci and Tuberculosis
were not detected in any of the 17 samples.
