Pneumonia.
As with the other notifiable infectious diseases,
Pneumonia showed a decline from 40 to 30 cases for
the year. Pneumonia is now being regarded as a
disease which requires institutional treatment.
Nine cases were sent to Hospital during the year.
The number of deaths from Pneumonia is still high and here again the Tolworth district presents most cases.

which could not be ascertained.
