There were fifteen cases notified, but no deaths
occurred. All the cases were removed to the Isolation
Hospital and the school premises disinfected on
several occasions.
On investigation, a carrier was found in one of
the Teaching Staff who had recently been appointed
as a mistress to the Junior Boys.
Suitable isolations were made and the school
was closed for the rest of the term.
