Of the workers engaged at the factories and
workshops the majority are resident within the
district.
The amount of unemployment in the Borough
is small and for the most part seasonal.
The added area of Chessington is being rapidly
developed, and when the two new stations there
are opened, more extensive development still may be
expected.
