HOSPITAL REPORT, 1898.
To the Chairman and Members of the Willesden Urban
District Council.
Gentlemen,
I beg to present my Report of the working
of the hospital during the year 1898.
There were 71 patients remaining in hospital
at the commencement of the year, 49 suffering
from scarlet fever, and 22 from diphtheria; of the
latter number 16 were under treatment at Stonebridge
Farm There have been 487 cases admitted, exactly
the same number as in the previous year; there have
been consequently 558 patients under treatment, an
average of 60 every day.
