COMPLICATIONS IN SCARLET FEVER CASES.

* In four of these cases the primary rash was doubtful, and it is for
these cases that an Observation Ward is required.
Many of the children were found to have large tonsils and
adenoids, a great predisposing factor in infection by Scarlet Fever.
Many of these children act as "carriers."
One of the cases included a Nurse at the Hospital.
DIPHTHERIA.

Here again females are more prone to attack than males, and most of the cases occur during school age.
