By constant reference to the said working schedule of 3,870
cottages which comprise slightly more than half of the inhabited
houses in the district we are able to pick out from time
to time the streets for inspection which are most likely to require
it, due regard being given to the date when the last inspection
took place, and the age of the cottages.
