SLAUGHTER - HOUSES.
Tottenham does not possess a Public Abattoir. The slaughtering

periodically inspected by the Inspectors of Nuisances. No arrangement
prevails for the systematic inspection of cattle at the time of slaughter,
but the Inspectors are frequently called upon to examine carcases or
parts of carcases that are considered by the owners as unfit for the
food of man.
Under the heading of "Food Inspections" are detailed the kinds
and amount of foodstuffs that have been condemned during the year.
