The Corrected Death-Rate is arrived at—
(1) By the exclusion of the deaths of non-residents
which occurred and were registered in Teddington.
(2) By the inclusion of the deaths of residents of
Teddington which occurred and were registered elsewhere
; and
(3) By allowing for the disturbing influence caused
by the age and sex distribution of the population.
