Enteric or Typhoid Fever.—-During the year three persons
in three different houses were notified as suffering from this
disease, equal to an attack-rate of "04 per thousand of the
population.
The following was the Ward incidence:—
St. Mary's 1
Dundonald 1
South Park 1
The cases occurred at the following times:—
January 1
May 1
December 1
There were no deaths.
Puerperal Fever.—Three cases were notified during the
year, which is equal to an attack-rate of '04 peT thousand of
the population.
Two of the cases were treated at the Isolation Hospital
and recovered.
There were no deaths.
Whooping Cough.—There were two deaths from this
disease, corresponding to a death-rate of .03 per thousand of
the population.
Erysipelas.—There were 30 cases notified during the year,
from 30 houses, corresponding to an attack-rate of .48 per
thousand of the population, and there were two deaths, which
is equal to a death-rate of 03 per thousand of the population.
Influenza.—This disease was certified as the cause of eight
deaths, corresponding to a death-rate of 12 per thousand of
the population. Last year there were 62 and in 1918 there
were 144.
The deaths were distributed through the Wards as
follows:—
