METEOROLOGY.
The meteorological returns hitherto published by the RegistrarGeneral
were temporarily discontinued after the week ending
October 24th. The following table consequently only applies to
42 weeks and no comparison can be made between it and the
previously published tables relating to entire years. The observations
were taken at Greenwich Observatory, a course justified by
the geographical position of the Borough immediately to the North
of Greenwich :—
