Zymotic Diseases.—The total deaths from the seven
principal Zymotic diseases numbered 738, making an annual Zymotic
death rate of 2.4 per 1,000, the average Zymotic death-rate during
the previous ten years being 3.57 per 1,000. In the following tables 1
append particulars, so far as possible, relating to each disease separately
—both notifiable and non-notifiable epidemic diseases. In the latter
cases, however, the returns of cases being obtained from the School
Attendance Officers are necessarily inexact.
