Sale of Food and Drugs Acts.
Under these Acts 1,037 samples were purchased for analysis, and 137 were returned by the Public Analyst as adulterated. I applied for summonses in 108 cases, at the hearing of which fines and costs were imposed by the Magistrates amounting to £386 19s. 0d. The particulars will be found in the appendix:—
