Seven cases of infectious disease occurred on the premises of milk
sellers, all being cases of scarlet fever. In five cases the infected
person was removed to hospital, in one the business was suspended,
and in one the business was temporarily removed to another house
until after disinfection of the premises.
Sale of Food and Drugs Acts and Margarine Act —
Under these Acts 207 samples were taken for analysis, and 23
returned as adulterated. Particulars are given below, and the results
of prosecution will be found in the Appendix.
