Grouping Hypermetropia and Hypermetropic Astigmatism under the
heading "Hypermetropia," and the four latter as "Myopia," we find
that 7052 percent come under the Hypermetropic Group and 2941
percent under the Myopic Group

Contrary to previous reports boys are in the preponderance, accounting
for 52 per cent, of all the cases
The girls show a slightly higher percentage of Hypermetropia, 7239
per cent, to the boys 71.70 percent.
The boys show a slightly higher percentage of Myopia, 2830, to girls
