The distribution of the cases according to Wards, and the number
of deaths are represented in the following diagram:—
SUMMER DIARRHCEA—EPIDEMIC OR
ZYMOTIC ENTERITIS.
Under this heading 65 deaths occurred during the year, compared
with 28 deaths the previous year.
Forty-nine of these deaths were in children under 1 year of age, and 11
between 1 and 5 years.
