222 lbs. of unsound fruit and vegetables were voluntarily
surrendered and 11 lbs. condensed milk.
The following visits of inspection were also paid:—
Fish shops, 115; Greengrocers shops, 90; Restaurants, &c.,

Bakehouses.
There are 17 bakehouses in the district, two being
underground bakehouses. Fifty-six visits of inspection
were made. Twenty-one breaches of requirements were
found and remedied in due course.
