Nutrition.—The general nutrition of the children was, on the
whole, satisfactory, and the increase in the price of food did not
appear to have adversely affected the nutrition of the children to any
appreciable extent. As in previous years, a comparatively small
number of children were found to be underfed and neglected, but the
condition of these was nearly always attributable to the unsatisfactory
