The staffs of not only the local hospitals but many of the
London hospitals have received many requests from the Medical
Officer for assistance during the year and he desires to tender his
thanks to them for services without which the year's work would
have been greatly diminished in value. At the same time however,
it must be pointed out that by far the greater and more important
portion of the treatment has been that carried out under the
arrangements made by the Education Committee, and that without
this merely a fringe of the cases requiring attention would have
received the treatment which was needed.
