EXTENT AND SCOPE OF THE INSPECTION.
Following the methods adopted in the latter part of 1913, the
children were examined (1) on entrance as infants, (2) at 8 years,
and (3) after reaching the age of 12.
The schedule of medical inspection has been closely followed
in every case.

The number examined at routine inspections in the schools during the year was 1,527, as shown in Table II. :—

In addition, 93 children were specially examined at the schools,
but the great majority of special examinations were carried out at
the clinic at Radnor House.
