Slaughter Houses.
There are 10 private slaughter houses in the district, all
registered. Repeated inspections were made, and I am
gratified in being able to state no contraventions of the
byelaws were discovered.
Bakehouses.
There are 20 bakehouses. All were under periodical
inspections, and although contraventions of the byelaws and
Factory Acts were found during the year they were not
serious, and generally speaking the bakehouses in the district
may be said to be in a satisfactory condition.
