Small Pox.
1 have pleasure in stating that no cases occurred. Due
provision was made to meet contingencies. The Mereway
Hospital, under the care of an attendant was retained for the
reception of patients.
The expenditure incurred in respect of the steps taken
during the previous year was, upon application being made to
the Local Government Board, allowed.
The question of combining with other Local Sanitary
Authorities in the County for the provision of Hospitals for the
accommodation of Small Pox patients has been under the further
consideration of the Council, but they were of opinion that under
existing circumstances it was inexpedient to become one of the
constituent Authorities..

Subjoined is a table of the scheduled notifiable diseases, with the number of cases occurring in each year for the past 10 years.
