rate is at the average of 1200 per 1,000 as against 12.09
per 1,000 in the preceding year.

1807 was 256 equal to an average rate of 13.4 per 1000

Over 1 year and under 5 years 23
Over 5 years and under 15 years 9
Over 15 years and under 25 years 12

65 years and upwards 81
There were 4 uncertified deaths occurring in
infants under 1 year.
Amongst the deaths from all causes were 2 from
Epidemic Influenza, 7 from Diarrhoea, 18 from Phthisis,
11 from Cancer, 42 from Respiratory diseases, 28 from
Heart Disease, 7 from Accidents and 12 Premature
Births.
Eight deaths occurred in St. John's Hospital; and
two in the Infectious Diseases Hospitals.
