ANNUAL REPORT OF THE MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH

To the Chairman and Members of the Tottenham
Urban District Council.
Gentlemen,
I beg to submit to you the Annual Report on the
Health, Sanitary Conditions, and Vital Statistics of the
District for the year ended 31st December 1913.
I was appointed your Medical Officer on the
5th November, 1912, and commenced my duties on the
1st January 1913, so that this Report records the work of
the Public Health Department during my first year of
office.
The Public Health (Tuberculosis) Regulations, 1912,
came into operation on the 1st February, 1913, making all
types of Tuberculosis notifiable to the Medical Officer of
Health for the district within which the place of residence of
the person is situate at the date of notification.
