The diseases which caused the greatest number of deaths were: —

INFANTILE MORTALITY.
The number of deaths of infants under one year of
age belonging to the district was 25. This gives a rate
of 59 per 1,000 births registered.
PRINCIPAL EPIDEMIC DISEASES.
The diseases which come under this category are:
Small-Pox, Measles, Scarlet Fever, Whooping Cough,
Diphtheria, the fevers (Typhus, Enteric and Continued),
and Diarrhoea.

The total number of deaths resulting from these diseases was 4, viz.:—

This shows a Zymotic death rate of .81 per 1,000,
and 16.1000 and percentage on deaths, a percentage of
