(c) Result of Service of Notices.
All notices served were complied with. Legal proceedings
had to be taken on three occasions to enforce the abatement
of nuisances.
As the owners commenced the work immediately after the
service of a summons, the Magistrates made an order for the
Works to be completed within seven days. The summonses
were afterwards withdrawn on payment of costs.

Regulations.
The following is a list of the Bye-laws or Regulations in
force in the district:—

sufficient water for flushing.
