The inspection of the Workshops and Workplaces in theBorough
revealed the fact that the premises generally were
kept in a satisfactory condition, and the requirements of theAct
were being duly observed.
Sanitary Administration of the District.
I. Sanitary Inspector's Work.
Pull details of the work carried out by the Sanitary
Inspector and Staff during the year will be found at the end
of this report.
The report of work done during the year is extremely
satisfactory, and is evidence of the diligent and efficient manner
in which the Sanitary Inspector continues to carry out
the responsible duties entrusted to him.
2. Isolation Hospitals.
The Small-pox Hospital is situated at Dockwell in Middlesex.
The position is about midway between the Bath and
Staines Roads, and about one mile due west of Hounslow
Barracks.
Mogden Isolation Hospital for other infectious diseases issituated
about midway between Isle worth and Twickenham in
the County of Middlesex.
The management and control of these Hospitals are under
a Joint Committee of members from the Richmond Town
Council and the Urban District Council of Heston and
Isleworth.
The Medical Superintendent of the Hospitals is Dr.
Bramwell Reid.
