Vaccination. Fortunately the Borough of Richmond is the best
vaccinated district in the County of Surrey. Great
credit is due to the Board of Guardians, who upon the appearance
of Small-pox in London, promptly exercised all means within their
power to enforce vaccination and re-vaccination.
