The following figures will illustrate the great amount of extra
work which has resulted from undertaking these duties:—
The total number of cases notified and found to be actually
suffering from one of the above-mentioned diseases during 1902 was
291, in connection with these there were 289 other children kept
from School on account of having been in contact with the
sufferers.
