frequent inspections of the premises, and they have been
limewashed or cleansed, as required by the Statute, at
regular intervals. Total visits, 103.
FACTORIES AND WORKSHOPS.
All premises registered under the Factories and Workshops
Act have been visited and inspected, attention being
directed to the following points:—Provision of ventilation,
sanitary accommodation, and air-space. There ar e 11 factories
and 18 workshops and workplaces, to which 235 visits of
inspection were made. Seventeen workshops were cleansed
by request.
