children under the Mental Deficiency (Notification of Children)
Regulations, 1914, classified as follows:—
Dull and Backward Children.— Total number certified 18
Recommended for Special Class for dull and backward
children 14
.Recommended for continuance of attendance at an
ordinary elementary school 4
Feeble-minded Children.— Total number certified 11
Recommended for admission to a Residential Special
School 5
Recommended for admission to a Special School
(Day or Residential) 6
Idiot Children.— Total number certified 2
Recommended for admission to a Residential
Institution 2
A complete list follows of those children who have been found
to be either—
(а) Mentally defective, but eduoable.
(б) Idiots or imibeciles.
together with information as to the present position of the children
concerned.
