The above figures have been calculated according to the same method
as that used last year, for the purpose of comparison.
Comparing them with the summary given in the Report for 1904, the
chief points worthy of notice are the following:—
An increase of 564 in the population.
A decrease of 27 in the total number of births.
A decrease of 11 in the number of births amongst residents.
A decrease of 1.3 in the birth-rate.
A decrease of 98 in the number of deaths amongst residents.
A decrease of 2 9 in the death-rate.
A small decrease (0 42) in the Zymotic death-rate.
