INFANTILE DEATH RATE.
Of the 277 children born, 17 died under 1 year of age.
The Infantile Mortality Rate is therefore 61.3 per 1,000
children born. In 1918 it was 32.2; and in 1917, 59.
The Infantile Death Rate for England and Wales for
1919 was 89, and for the 148 smaller towns 90.
