It will be seen that the Infantile Mortality of all
these localities has risen this year. Small districts such
as Hampton Wick are liable to extreme variations. For
the past two years the mortality has been very low.
PRINCIPAL EPIDEMIC DISEASES.
The Zymotic Death Rate is based on the principal
infectious diseases, including Epidemic Diarrhoea. Five
deaths of this nature occurred during the year, giving a
zymotic mortality of 2.07. This is exceptionally high,
and is due to the excessive mortality from Epidemic
Diarrhoea.
