This is equal to a birth rate of 23'3 per thousand of

DEATHS AND DEATH RATE.
The total number of deaths registered as having
occurred in the district during the year from all causes
was 79.
This number includes six non-residents; the
particulars of whose deaths were forwarded to the
Medical Officers of Health in whose districts these persons
had previously resided.
The Registrar General has furnished particulars of the
deaths of twenty-two residents which occurred outside the
district, distributed among outside institutions as follows :—
Union Infirmary, Kingston, 12; Asylums, 2; London
Hospitals, 3; Teddington Cottage Hospital, 2; other
places, 3.
After correcting these returns by deducting the
deaths of the six non-residents and adding the deaths of
the twenty-two residents who died at hospitals or other
places beyond the district, we arrive at a nett total of
95 deaths of residents, 45 males and 50 females, the causes
of whose deaths, together with the age-periods at death are
shown in the tabular statement below.
I also append a table showing the distribution of
these deaths among males and females with the age periods
at death.
