On looking at this table, it will be seen that a large
proportion of deaths occurred in persons over the age
of 65 years. Seven deaths of infants under one year of
age were registered, so that only 5 deaths were registered
in persons of over one year of age and under 65.
With regard to the causes of death, the chief points
of interest in the table are firstly the large number of
deaths from Diarrhœa in infants, and secondly that
Diseases of the Heart were again responsible for the
