Finch ley Urban District Council.
REPORT
OF THE
MEDIGAL OFFICER OF HEALTH
For the Year 1915.
TO THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE
FINCHLEY URBAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
Mr. Chairman, Mrs. Hardie, and Gentlemen,—
I beg to present the report on the health of the Finchley
Urban District for the year 1915.
The vital statistics continue to be very favourable.
There have been several temporary changes in the clerical
staff owing to the absence of Mr. Harland and Mr. Newbery,
who have joined the military forces. Mr. Eldred, Assistant
Inspector, joined the Forces in 1915, and Mr. Hudson in 1916.
An additional Health Visitor and School Nurse was appointed
in February, 1916.
It is with much regret that I have to state that Mrs.
Brand died in September. She acted for 28 years as matron
(1) at the Fever Hospital and afterwards at the Small Pox
Hospital, and her work was always carried out most efficiently.
Your obedient servant,
J. R. PRIOR.
