HOUSE TO HOUSE INSPECTIONS.
This important branch of Public Health service is now
receiving the fullest attention of the Inspectorial Staff, and a
considerable amount of work has already been accomplished.
During the period of the war the repairing of houses had to
some extent been suspended, with the inevitable result that
certain properties deteriorated, and some time must elapse before
arrears can be overtaken. The Council, with this end in view,
have appointed three additional Assistant Sanitary Inspectors,
who work under the District Inspectors.
