beef, and seeing them cut into different shapes, gave the defendant
the benefit of the doubt. Shortly after the hearing of this case,
the Ministry of Food issued a new schedule of meat prices, in
which it was defined what was to be sold as wing rib.
SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACT.
There have been 334 samples taken during the year, of whiich
34 were found to be adulterated, these being equal to 10.2 per
cent. of samples. It will be see from the table that 253 samples
of milk were taken, and 30 were found to be adulterated. This
is equal to 11.4 per cent. of the samples. Milk always holds the
premier position among the articles subject to adulteration.
