GENERAL REVIEW OF FACTS DISCLOSED BY MEDICAL
INSPECTION.
Nutrition.
13.1 boys and 116 girls, percentages of 10.9 of boys
and 11.7 of girls were found under normal conditions.
Defective Clothing.
Ragged or insufficient clothing was found in 1.4 per cent.
boys and 0.50 per cent. girls. Dirty clothing was found in 1.3
per cent. boys and 1.5 per cent. girls.
Defective Boots.
There was noted a percentage of 4.6 boys and 2.8 girls.
External Eye Disease.
These diseases are much more rare than in former years as
cases are discovered early and treated at the Clinics. 17 boys
and 32 girls were found affected.
Skin Diseases.
Impetigo.
The teachers send children who are infected to the Clinics as
soon as detected. The number of cases found at routine inspections
was 29.
