135 inquests were held. Post-mortem examinations were
made on 105 cases.
The following were the causes certified by Coroners:—

INFANTILE MORTALITY.
267 deaths of Infants under one year of age occurred in the
Borough, giving a rate of 77 per 1,000 births registered as against
63 in 1913 and 71 per 1,000 in 1912.
The number of infant deaths and the rate per 1,000 births for the past five years were as follows:—
