TREATMENT CLINIC.
The accompanying table gives the affections for which treatment
was provided and the results obtained.
The Clinic is open for treatment each morning except
Saturday.
It will be seen on reference to the detailed table that the
largest number of attendances was for Discharging Ears.
This condition, if not treated at the Clinic, is often neglected
and the children, if allowed to attend school, would be obnoxious
tf> those in association with them, besides the danger of the child
becoming deaf.
Discharging ears, if neglected, becomes a chronic disease,
and of the 70 cases treated only 40 were given as cured, 17
relieved, and 13 unchanged.
External Eye Diseases were next in number, and were treated
with success.
Corneal Ulceration, if neglected, leads to scarring of the
Visual Media, rendering1 vision defective for life.
